We had such a great time at our one night booking at Grand Sarai that we decided to stay another night. So glad we did, the staff is friendly and helpful, the location perfect for trying amazing restaurants and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. I want to go back!

This historic 300-year-old building houses a beautiful hotel with large well-equipped rooms. It is in the heart old town. The free breakfast is varied and delicious. Be aware that permanent parking may be 300 meters away. Parking is a comfortable walk to a flight of steps that leads up to the front door. Alternatively, if you don't mind navigating a narrow street, you can drive up next to the hotel (up a flight of stairs from the front door) to unload your luggage. In either case, hotel staff will gladly help you get your luggage up or down the adjacent stairs.

A beautifully renovated building. The manager was super friendly and welcoming. Large room overlooking the castle. The hotel is perfectly situated to climb the steps to the castle and the old town and port. Nice breakfast that you can take outside. Free parking not far away and easy to find. Prestige family room was very spacious . Clean and nice beds and linens. Bathroom shower head was broken. For some reason the toilet would smell bad. As it is in the old city, you have to walk/ use steps to access the hotel . If you have a car then you will have to find street parking and walk 5 mins to the hotel.( I didn’t find it too convenient ).
