The Chimes

The Chimes

10/10 Excellent
"We have just had 4 nights at The Chimes and would definitely go again. The room had everything you could need and was very clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, cooked by Andy, with a good choice. We managed to park just down the road from The Chimes which was ideal. Donna and Andy are a really lovely couple and Donna could not do enough for us. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted with a smile and asked if everything was ok. I would certainly recommend The Chimes"

"Characterful building set in lovely surroundings with a nice well stocked & tended garden area. The accommodation was immaculate & furnished beautifully. A lovely quiet area is made available for relaxation which is well appointed with classic furnishings. The hosts greeted us with a happy demeanour & remained so throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic with all that anyone could wish for being offered. The breakfast service was extremely efficient, even when it was busy. In-room tea & coffee facilities were re-stocked daily. We couldn't praise our stay highly enough & would recommend this guest house to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a lovely village close to Bridlington."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bridlington

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Bridlington is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To fully appreciate the town's historical and cultural landmarks, including its charming port, sandy beaches, and notable monuments, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This budget-friendly getaway allows visitors to explore various attractions such as fishing spots, golf courses, and birdwatching opportunities, all while enjoying great value for money. With the possibility that prices may drop during these months, it's a perfect time for those on a budget to experience the best Bridlington has to offer.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Bridlington, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. To enhance your savings, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications for flash sales and special promotions. With the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, you're more likely to see comparisons of hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. This way, if rooms become available or prices decrease, you'll be among the first to know and can seize the opportunity for a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Bridlington. For those seeking a more distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and, at times, better value for money. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near major attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a steeper price tag. For those seeking more affordable options, consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sights you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels situated a bit further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
