Good value stay in an interesting building
At a similar price to a chain budget hotel I decided to take a risk and go for this instead as this landmark building in the centre of Southampton looked like an interesting choice. It is an old building and a bit dated in parts but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. There was also a decent and good-value breakfast. It made for a more interesting stay than an anonymous chain and was a bargain for the price. I'd happily stay again.

The hotel is a old building but it is in good shape. We enjoyed it there for our weekend stay. Not sure if we'd stay again. Wouldn't put anyone off staying here. Room was a bit cold . We was given a electric heater which was good overall enjoyable
