Holiday Inn Express Canterbury by IHG
"Value for money. Clean and tidy room. Comfortable restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staffs are polite."
Hampton by Hilton Canterbury
"Fine"
Holiday Inn Express Ramsgate - Minster by IHG
"Location close to a petrol station and other amenities for food, and the breakfast was great with a lot of choices."
The Falstaff Hotel
"We had one night in Canterbury, we spent Sunday shopping along the High Street and then had a meal out at the local Weatherspoon's (at the end of the hotel car park). The hotel was beautifully clean. We had a good nights sleep and woke to have an amazing full British. All we could ask for... Car parking is £15.00 for the day-night which is done on the smartphone and nothing to do with the hotel so you must be Techie Savvy to park. Overall and excellent experience and exceptionally close to the high Street for shopping."
Fort Road Hotel
"Excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room 9 had amazing views and was well presented. The only negative thing that I noticed was black stains on the shower ceiling in the bathroom which looked like mold."

"A wonderful stay - breakfast was delicious!"
Broome Park Hotel
"Bedding, towels, bathrooms were all clean but the lodge itself needed a bit of TLC in places. Broome Park is a beautiful setting and the golf is amazing. Loved exploring the nearby areas. Overall a great holiday and at a good price via Expedia 👍"
Shenandoah House
"We received the warmest welcome at Shendoah house. They’ve thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Would stay here again without a doubt, thank you"
The Hussar
"The lady who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The ensuite facilities were good."

Additionally, Margate's historical sites, friendly locals, and charming port area all contribute to an affordable getaway full of great value for money. - Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Margate, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you’re more likely to see the best options available. This way, you'll be informed if prices drop or rooms become available, making it easier to book a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Margate hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we may suggest more economical dates to enhance your chances of securing the best deal.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, yet it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. Exploring independent hotels situated a bit further out can also lead to a more authentic and budget-friendly experience, as they usually tend to be cheaper.
