"The Hilton Hotel (Capital Center) was walking distance from many museums and near a pedestrian walkway along the Mississippi River. The hotel was very quiet during my entire stay, allow me to rest and relax after returning to my room after a long day of sightseeing. I really appreciated that fact that the Hilton offers a free shuttle that brought me to and from the Baton Rouge Airport. The shuttle drivers, Jerry and Kelvin, were very friendly and helpful. The local citizens of Baton Rouge were friendly and very welcoming, making me feel at ease during my first visit to this beautiful Southern city. Make a point to visit the Old Capitol Museum, The Old Governor's Mansion, the Capitol Park Museum, and especially the Magnolia Mound Plantation. You can pick up a few items at a wonderful grocery store called Matherne's just a few blocks away on N. 3rd Street. There are also several beautiful, historic churches nearby."

"This hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked through the door, the customer service at the front desk went far beyond what you typically expect from a hotel. I was greeted with such genuine kindness that it honestly felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming home. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully put together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and designed to make it easy to relax after a long day. The amenities were another highlight. Having the bar on-site was a great touch, and the entire property was well-maintained and inviting. The surrounding area was equally impressive, with plenty of nearby options and a great atmosphere. And for anyone traveling with pets, this place is incredibly dog-friendly, which made the experience even better. Without question, this was a five-star stay, and I'll absolutely be back."
