Learn more about Cassis
Between dramatic limestone cliffs and the azure Mediterranean, this fishing port offers Provence in miniature. Colourful boats bob in the harbour where cafes serve pastis and fresh seafood. Kayak to hidden calanques – those stunning rocky inlets that define the coastline – or simply bask on Cassis Beach with locals. Cap Canaille's red cliffs provide the perfect sunset backdrop after a day exploring the winding streets lined with fishermen's pastel houses. Wine enthusiasts shouldn't miss the local vineyards producing distinctive whites and rosés (not to be confused with crème de cassis liqueur). For the full experience, venture into Calanques National Park where turquoise waters meet towering white cliffs in a landscape that feels impossibly Mediterranean.

Novotel Marseille Centre Gare
"Very friendly staff. We stayed for one night only but the staff went out of their way to help us and make our stay pleasant."
Toyoko Inn Marseille Saint Charles
"This hotel is very good value. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast consisted of a good variety of pastries, fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs and hams. Only criticism would be there was only two coffee sachets in the room and no milk. We asked for milk at reception and were told they don’t give milk out so we had to buy some from the supermarket. Hotel is very close to the station and the area has a lot of homeless people however we never felt scared or threatened but we’re back in our hotel room by 8pm. We had a lovely meal in Le Panier which is the old town and very arty. And a nice walk along the port. Overall our visit was very positive and would definitely return to explore more of the city."
Hôtel Liautaud Cassis by Germain Collection
"We had a basic room that was still quite large. Excellent shower. There isn't a better location in Cassis...PERIOD! The staff at the restaurant downstairs were very friendly and the food was good. The breakfast at this hotel was excellent (and included with our stay). A shout out to LAURA on the front desk...when we arrived, the lift was temporarily out of service and she brought our bags up to our second floor room without hesitation. She was committed to us enjoying our stay."
Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - Marseille Vieux Port
"Always leery booking something in another country. Our 2 bedroom suit was great. Perfect location; great staff. Definitely recommend it."
Ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles
"Room"
Grand Juste
"Quiet. Clean. Good coffee as usual. Plenty of good water. Electrical was a little odd in the room (vs Maison juste) but we had an ada room and maybe that’s why. AC worked very very well but we were on the ground floor which helped. Overall recommend both Grand and Maison Juste."
Golden Tulip Marseille Euromed
"Very clean and modern. Easy Access to Harbour walking or by street car."
Pamela Hôtel Cassis
"Such a lovely hotel. It has a deliberate retro 70s vibe but at the same time is very clean and modern. It has a great pool area and the surroundings feel quite Beverley Hills. There's a good breakfast available and all the staff are super friendly. It's about a 5 minute walk down the hill into town so very conveniently located. We'd definitely stay again. Genuinely a lovely stay."
Grand Hotel Beauvau Marseille Vieux-Port - MGallery Collection
"Excelente hotel, muy buena ubicación, habitaciones aceptables, limpias y luminosas. El personal muy servicial, tienen servicio a la habitación y la cocina del hotel es bastante buena. A un paso del puerto y a dos minutos de las tiendas. El hotel es antiguo, pero se conserva muy bien ."

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re the first to know if rooms become available or prices drop for your preferred options.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Cassis. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to secure the best possible deal.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to balance cost with ease of access to your intended destinations. You might also explore independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
