Anker Brygge is perfectly situated in the middle of town, with lots of outdoor tables for enjoying the harbor views. The cabins have been tastefully preserved with antique fixtures while also having all the modern amenities. I was particularly thankful for the reception staff who helped us quickly secure transport to the airport when other options were not available. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious!

Charming and cozy room 211 above pub & restaurant. Soundproof, clean with every necessities in kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Secured with 2keys, 1for entrance below and 1for room upstairs.. Decent amount of breakfast spread which was nice served next to the reception. Instagramable spot just behind reception. Property overbooked the night of our stay. We booked a two story suite with three beds on the water but we were given keys to a small one story apt with one bed overlooking the parking lot. Not even remotely close to what we paid for. The room was also located very close to the bar which was open till 2 AM and had karaoke (extremely loud). We questioned the room and they acknowledged we were in the wrong room but couldn't be moved. They offered a bottle of wine to make up for it which we declined. Asked for a partial refund instead and they said we would have to request it from Expedia. The hotel ignored Expedias calls until after we checked out. Then after we were gone they finally answered and told Expedia they would not approve the partial refund. Horrible experience. We are now going through our credit cards dispute process.

Our stay at the Anker Brygge was wonderful, it was our favorite place while we were in Norway. The view from our rooms were all fantastic, the picnic table outside a wonderful place to enjoy a warm evening. The breakfast in the morning was great too. The only thing that could be better is the support from the staff. I needed some help due to an emergency but the lady at the front desk didn’t seem very happy that she had to help me wiith a simple phone call. In the middle of the night, the fire alarms started blaring in all the buildings. Everyone came outside but there was no staff to tell us what was going on. After 10 minutes or so, the alarm stopped and we all went back to sleep hoping it was just a false alarm. It would have been nice to be reassured all is okay.
