This is the only place to stay for a visit to Chichen Itza. They have a five minute shuttle to the archaeological site and will even sell you a ticket before you go so you don’t have to wait in line. Plus it’s a really nice Hacienda style hotel

It's a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay. For the price, it would be nice to have better amenities in the rooms, and overall the service was very friendly but oddly sparse. That said, we'd recommend it.

Nice...but!
There is no internet or TV in the rooms and this is told to you at check in with no sympathy or empathy.
Alfonso and Alex in the restaurant were amazing, and so was Sergio the bellman. Nice place to stay when you visit Chichen Itza but be prepared to DISCONNECT.
The staff have daily meetings in the middle of the reception area, which is awkward for guests. They should find another place...

A 2 star hotel at best
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. At best a 2 star.
Everything is old, in bad shape and outdated from the 90s.
Way overpriced for the service

Great Place to Stay at Chichen Itza
The Lodge was an absolute find! We found the staff very friendly, the restaurant very good, and the room very clean. The property was gorgeous. We could tell the hotel was just reopening post Covid, but we were so pleased we extended 2 nights. You can see parts of Chichen Itza from the lobby. We would come back

This is an amazing property located in the jungle, right next to Chichen Itza. We stayed in a traditional bungalow. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the room was clean & the staff was friendly & accommodating. Property is gated so also felt safe. Only con is that you can only acces the WiFi in the main lodge (not a problem for me, but the kids were bummed about it). I hired a private guide for Chichen Itza through the hotel and he was very good. I would highly recommend staying here!

** A must on your vacation list **
I have no words to thanks the beautiful staff at the lodge Chichen Itza. I arrived late and they were waiting for us. They even called us to ensure everything was ok! My family enjoyed every sigle day. This paradise is a place where you go disconnect and reset as a person. My two teens girls and my 5 year old boy had a hard 1st day since wifi is limited but im glad for it because it brought us together as a family. The ruins are the most beautifully thing I've seen (after my wife).
But this review is to thanks the beautiful staff. From the front desk to the restaurant to the house keeping personnel. Joaquin thank you for your courteous attention, you made us feel like family. Alex and Francisco two gentlemen at the restaurant always there, day and night working with a smile. Luis and Salomon made a smood check in and check out and answer any question we had. Valerio the bartender always had the beer cold and a good conversation. Genoveva put her gentle touch every day she cleaned our room, always with a smile. Segio and Juan muchas gracias!
The hotel opened up about 5 months ago due to covid and its been maintained in spectacularly! My message to all the travelers is to please treat the staff as you would like to be treated. The day we left they all said bye to my family and wished us safe travels. To my Mexican people I humbly ask that you guys take care of our people as they are a national treasure!!!

The property is stunning - historical construction with a beautiful setting in the middle of the jungle! The staff was great - very accommodating and did their best to make us comfortable. The property itself was on the upswing - I imagine it was closed for some time due to COVID. The pools were beautiful and the bungalows were clean. The meals and drinks were very reasonably priced and delicious.

I enjoyed this property. Bungalows in the jungle. Lots of animal nooses. Even frogs on the pathway. Very empty due to pandemic. They drove us to Chichen Itza and back as the private entrance is closed due to pandemic right now. Restaurant was good and fast too. They have their own tours and guides to Chichen Itza also which is nice. Room was spacious and nice. Beds comfy and cozy. Hammock on the porch was fun.

Nice setting, staying in bungalow much better experience than hotel. Nice to have the private entrance into Chichen Itza from the Lodge, main entrance is a nightmare. Bad point, the pools are FREEZING! They’re in a wooded setting and they are in the shade. You got to turn up the heat a little, come on.

This is a very unique property directly adjacent to the archealogical excavation at Chichen Itza. The service was excellent. We highly recommend going on the 5:00 to 8:00 am guided sunrise tour.

Great place
Great to have a place with an entrance to the site without having to fight the throngs ot tour groups.
Very pleasant place to stay - when staying at the cabins, it would be helpful if the sign-posting was a bit better organized - in the evenings we managed to stray when returning (although it's a pleasant walk through the gardens).

This historic property is immediately adjacent to Chichen Itza itself making it the go-to lodging in the area. They have special arrangements with the park so we were able to see the sunrise over the ruins. The grounds are lovely; the rooms tastefully decorated. Downsides: the restaurant fare is mediocre except for the midday buffet which is extensive and tasty. The bed in the bungalow was VERY soft (like sleeping in pudding) and directly under the air conditioner's flow. The bathroom floor is treacherous when wet.
