Stands out on common areas, rooms simpler.
The common areas are truly excellent, with beautiful decoration, new equipment, and more. I would rate these areas as nearly 5-star hotel quality. The hotel restaurant is also outstanding, offering exceptional food, atmosphere, and service. However, the rooms are simpler and more basic, even in the higher-tier ones like the one I booked. I believe a 3-star rating is more appropriate for the rooms. Overall, I would rate the hotel as around 3.5 stars.

This was a great stay. It is starting to look dated but progress in up grades can be seen around the resort. Resturant was great. Lots of choices for food and beach space in area around by foot. For our first time in Brazil from Canada felt safe walking around even at night Only bad thing was heavy sewage smell in bathrooms all three of our rooms with no vent fans Staff at front desk was over the top, most of the time with English option.

Séjour relaxant au son de la bossa nova!
Hotel très agréable et plein de charme autour des souvenirs du poète Vinicius de Moraes. Matelas très confortable, petit déjeuner varié et copieux, piscine agréable pour se relaxer en fin de journée. Deux légers défauts, les box de douche sont passablement étroit et la chambre supérieure en duplex manquait d'espace de rangement pour disposer les habits hors des bagages. Le phare d'Itapoã tout proche mérite une promenade au coucher du soleil.

Hotel muito agradável
Hotel nota mil!! A estadia foi maravilhosa, equipe extremamente atenciosa e solícita. Quartos amplos, limpos e tudo muito caprichado. Áreas externas agradáveis e restaurante muito bom com café da manhã farto. Para almoço e janta, há opção do restaurante que nesses momentos é aberto ao público externo (recomendado reservar antes) com pratos deliciosos e regionais. Como o cardápio é diferenciado, acaba sendo mais caro, mas eu particularmente achei que valeu a pena todas as vezes que comi lá (pratos, sobremesas e pizza). O ambiente é MUITO gostoso. Outras opções são o room service (sanduíches, porções e pizza a noite) e o cardápio da piscina (porções e alguns pratos - diferentes do restaurante). A praia na frente do hotel é bem agitada, não muito tranquila pra quem não sabe nadar bem ou para crianças. Me falaram sobre algumas piscinas naturais que se formam na praia, mas eu não vi nenhuma nos dias que fiquei lá, o mar seguiu bem forte. A área da praia como um todo me pareceu bem segura e é limpa. O bairro é bem afastado do centro, o que o isola bastante. Por um lado, o sossego. Por outro, transporte longo e caro até os principais pontos turísticos. Único ponto negativo foi o taxista indicado pelo hotel para nos levar ao show do Caetano&Bethania (motivo da viagem) que nos levou na ida, mas na volta passou a corrida para outro taxista sem nos avisar, causando um transtorno enorme na saída do show com direito a grosseria do motorista e ameaça de nos deixar lá. Uma dor de cabeça!!!
