The property itself is a little outdated, but overall our stay was great. The location was perfect and quiet. We would stay again.

8/10 Very good

The motel is dated but care is taken to present a clean and comfortable room. A quiet, tranquil place to spend the night.

Nice place, the only thing I would recommend is to add instructions about how to use the TV .

The room we were in had new laminate flooring. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will be back next time we need to stay in the area.

The young lady at front desk was helpful. Nobody at front desk following morning when trying to drop off keys

It’s a two or three star hotel at the best - don’t expect more. Upkeep on the exterior is very lacking.

Inexpensive basic accommodation
Clean, basic, accommodation for a one night trip. The entire building is a little worse for age and where and needs a major facelift. The room offered a fridge, microwave and sink with a few dishes and a bit of cutlery, but no dish towels nor soap for washing up.

It stank, the floors were dirty and sticky , the AC was very very loud like wakes you up. The blanket was dirty and dusty .

Ron showed to us was not the one booked. Room we assigned smelled of urin and tons of air freshener spray trying to cover it up. Stairs to second level are loose and unsafe. Could not stay there. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Tired, needs upgrading. Clean and the bed was good. Only issues. 1. The TV is complex to put on and find the channels, there are two changers. 2. The TV kept freezing, very annoying. 3. There is a mini kitchen, two plates, two bowls no cutlary and no way of making tea or coffee, you cant even boil water.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This property is VERY rundown and dated. The wooden porch and stairs that lead to the upstairs rooms are dilapidated. There are vagrants living in the downstairs rooms. Each room is equipped with an old wooden chair and full cigarette butt can outside the door so they can sit out and smoke. We didn't feel safe enough to stay here. No refund policy of course otherwise they would have no income. Book at own risk!

I appreciate the Non-Smoking rooms. But the smokers all come to the door and the smoke travels up to the upper balconies.

Staff was super friendly and kind. Room was very spacious. Extremely dated decor and bed was a worn coil spring. Kitchenette was nice and had a few mismatched dishes to use. We were on second floor and the wood stairs going up were quite old and shaky. When we went down at one point, we noticed, thankfully just in time, one had broken right off! (It was replaced promptly.) It’s inexpensive, located close to town.

I had called the Inn a couple days prior to let them know I’d be checking in late as we had a show in Lindsay that didn’t end until after 10pm. They said it was fine and nothing further. We showed up after 11pm and the place was dark, looked like it was closed up. The sign said to call the number. So we did and pounded on the front door a bunch of times. After about 8-10 mins they opened the door and checked us in. I was really worried after seeing Google reviews vs Expedia reviews. We got the room that looked identical to the photos shown here. Perhaps they reserve the room for Expedia guests. Behind the beds was really dusty and cobwebs but otherwise was clean. We didn’t try to watch tv. Facilities were clean. The Inn appears to be family owned so doesn’t follow regular check in procedures as expected from other hotels. Take this review for what it is. My risk taking ended up being ok. Just not sure what room I would have ended up with had I not booked on Expedia. Felt safe. Beds were ok, not super comfortable or uncomfortable. I paid for what I got I suppose.

Very disappointing. The room was “non-smoking” but it stank horribly. The outside door had evidence of a forced entry , not replaced and poorly patched up. The bathroom door had a fist sized hole. Very outdated. Carpet stained and had cigarette burns. The grounds were unkept and littered with debris ( old a/c units, broken furniture etc.). Do not recommend.

If you could give negative stars I would have preferred that. This place was an armpit. If we hadn’t come in so late, we would have gone back to Lindsay and booked literally ANYWHERE else. It was disgustingly dirty all over, the bathroom smelled like urine, the whole room stank overwhelmingly of stale cigarette smoke, and it looked like someone had smacked the walls with a hammer or something. The walls were so chipped and dinged and the paint job was terrible. We’re just praying we didn’t bring home lice or bed bugs. I wouldn’t house a dog I didn’t like in that place knowing how awful it is. The only positives were that they brought us an iron when we needed one, which was nice, and as my husband said - “Any hotels we would reserve in the future couldn’t possibly be worse.”
