The property was over an hour away from Madrid by bus or 45 euros by Uber. There was no hot water in the shared bath and the beds were not comfortable.

We stayed as a family with a small child. The hostel did not seem to prohibit a smoking indoors, so the entire hostel and rooms were filled with smoke. All three of us left in the morning with a horrible cough. The staff is lovely and the amenities are clean. The building is old and the rooms do not insulate any noise, so we hardly slept. We felt like we smoked a pack of smokes though, horrible experience, specially for our ten year old.

Staff open the front door at 6am or 7am let all the main areas open with proper heating conditions while your room got frozen and the corridor to the bathroom and unheated , so when you have to use the bathroom the changing temperature from the room to the bathroom got me a clod which I am still suffering due to my room was in the main entrance at street level

Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia en el Hostal Cervantes. Sonia fue muy amable y atenta desde que llegamos hasta nuestra partida. La habitación estaba en perfectas condiciones, y lo mejor de todo es que el ambiente era completamente silencioso, lo que hizo que pudiéramos descansar de manera excelente. Sin duda, es el lugar ideal para una escapada tranquila. ¡Definitivamente volveremos! Un sitio 100% recomendable.
