Lovely location in the arts district. Within walking distance to the Bay park area, fine arts center, Marina and downtown where you can find wonderful restaurants. Although we had a car, it was very convenient to use the shuttle service. The drivers were great to point out special points of interest and got us to/from our destination promptly.

Even though the hotel states the rooms have been refurbished they were just lack luster. The shower had mildewed caulk. The pictures on the walls were of cats and birds and were hung crooked. I could not open the curtains all the way so it was a bit claustrophobic. The rooms only had espresso makers and if you wanted a just cup of coffee you had to buy it. The staff was very friendly.

Overall, this hotel met our basic needs, however I found amenities to be misrepresented. There is a daily resort fee for services such as the pool, fitness center, shuttle, and beach gear however the shuttle was rarely available to bring us where we needed so we were unable to use this. The beach gear was first come, first served and was poor quality. We had daily issues with our room keys not working and plumbing issues in our room. The hotel was overall clean and served its purpose, but the amenities were the man draw for us to stay here so I was slightly disappointed.

If you’re looking to rest, this is not the hotel for you. Lots of banging that started extremely early in the morning and continued through out the day, ending around 11pm. The housekeeping team hung out on the floor starting at 7am, talking loudly, finishing mid afternoon. Bring your own multiplugs or extension cords as our room only contained two. I wasn’t thrilled with our stay and will choose differently in the future.
