Fabulous 8.6 From 147 reviews
Unfortunately the room was not an “8.6 Fabulous” as previous reviewers have shared. I had to wipe off all surfaces (counters, desk, dresser, nightstand, coffee table, bathroom shelving) and ask for a new comforter to replace the stained one; despite the “cleaned and sealed” sticker on the door frame. The heat blew cold air often, causing the room to dip incredibly low, yet other times would get back to the set temperature and feel hotter than what was set. Walls were marked with food/drink/or grime in various places.
The hotel was in an excellent and easy-to-find location. The staff was very helpful. I was very disappointed that the laundry had been washed with chemicals, possibly fabric softener. I am very opposed to this toxic ingredient and it bothered my health. The positive notes were: this hotel had an elevator, the shower was very enjoyable and the room was exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, I will not stay in this hotel again because of the toxic cleaning solution. It's too bad because the rest of the experience was very good.
Very nice hotel. Clean, great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff very friendly and cooperative. Spacious room.
Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Sack breakfast was great for the road, as well as the excellent coffee. Room was great except bathroom had used soap and open shampoo in shower. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
It was a nice place to stay and the people were helpful and nice
The location and quality of the hotel was good, the furnishing were nice and the staff was always very friendly. Unfortunately, cleanliness was not a priority for them. Upon our arrival we had to ask them to vacuum our floors as there was debris everywhere, including clipped toenails or fingernails by the bed, which is pretty disgusting... We went around and cleaned off all of the fingerprints from the microwave, refrigerator, doors, nightstands, etc. The cleaned with Lysol products vivid sticker across the door is a joke. I guess it’s a good thing we aren’t overly concerned with it and are young and healthy. We stayed for 10 days and asked them to clean the room on day 6, including changing the sheets. When we arrived back, the only thing that had been done was that they brought new towels, coffee and soaps and folded over the toilet paper cutely. The bed was made back with our original sheets, nothing was changed out, wiped down or vacuumed. Again, cleanliness is not a priority. The laundry room was dirty and one of the dryers vented into the room so it felt like a sauna every time we dried clothes. While I wish I could report this was the dirtiest hotel I stayed at while here; sadly, two others have been worse! For such a lovely area of the country, hotel cleanliness isn’t as lovely.
Courteous staff and clean rooms! Beautiful lounge area as well!
Overall this was a very unimpressive hotel. Poor customer service. Not clean. Not up to par with other Hampton Inn's we've stayed at.
The parking lot was really full. Several big trucks and double parked css as es were annoying.
