Beautiful hotel, lovely spacious suite in Executive floor . Unfortunately could not really utilise the lounge, as we were not back to the hotel at the right times. Excellent hotel situated in central Xian, convenient for exploring on foot as easily accessible to metro and train stations. Staff excellent throughout our stay to help with queries, especially the concierge and front desk reception staff. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Only problem is our stay was not longer there!

Sofitel on Renmin Square exceeded our expectations in the quality and spaciousness of the room: for example, it had two toilets and a seperate Tub/Shower arrangement). It also exceeded our expectations in the breakfasts and the ambiance of the dining room. Additionally, all of the staff (expecially Leo the concierge) made us feel welcomed and were warm and friendly. Our stay at Sofitel Xian was a delight and an unexpected highlight of our 4 night stay in the city.

Classy hotel with friendly English speaking staff, clean and comfortable room. A special shout out to the hotel porter Andy who spoke great English and was so helpful during my stay and truly went above and beyond in his customer service. The hotel is a 25 minute walk to the closest entry point onto the City wall (Changle gate), which I highly recommend to rent a bicycle on.
