Hótel is great but on a busy street. Room was super cozy but too hot to sleep in and we couldn’t control the temperature so we had to sleep with the window open. Unfortunately there’s a bar downstairs and patrons don’t comprehend that people are sleeping so there was a lot of singing and screaming until 1am (we stayed there on a Saturday night). Would have preferred a quieter hotel honestly.

Nice stay…
We had a nice stay. The service provided by staff was exceptional. Prices may have been a bit steep for the amenities and the quirky shower/bath set up was a bit odd.

Parking can be difficult to find due to the bars & restaurants downstairs. WiFi was a problem and the people at the checkin didn’t know how to reboot their system.

This hotel is in a great location to explore the Golden Circle, Reykjadalur Geothermal River and the South Coast waterfalls before Vik. The staff were super friendly, helpful and it was great to have the food hall options available as well as gas station, Bonus, and bakery all available. Highly recommend!

So cute! A little noisy at night but very cool hotel. Loved the food hall, shopping area and roof top. Would stay here again.

Great location with ample food and bar options quite literally in the lobby. All the amenities you could ever need! Friendly service, great cafe with morning coffee and a large well stocked gift and clothing shop. Only downside was the room was quite cramped… bed was mediocre, however we felt it was good value for the price! We appreciated having a fridge for a few beverages and yogurts.

4/10 Fair

Ok, but could use some work..
We were only there for a night. The property itself was nice with lots of food options. However, the rooms sit right above the food hall and bar and is hard to get away from the noise. If you’re looking for a quiet night, this is not the place. There was drunken people outside smoking and talking loud late into the night (it sounded as if they were in our room). As for the room, it was decorated nice. However, the floors were hollow, and you could hear people walking above you (we were on the 2nd floor). As for cleanliness there seemed to be a questionable stain on the couch cushion and we kept getting a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. When checking out I mentioned the smell to the front deck and they said they would look into it but did not offer to rectify the unpleasant stay. We also mentioned how loud it was throughout the night. Their response was “yeah, we’ve been hearing about this issue” and once again, did not do anything to rectify the situation or offer even offer an apology. If you need a place to stay on your drive between the east and west and don’t mind some noise, it does the job. A considering the issues we had, we would not stay there again and give it a lower rating. Had they offered a slight discount or even a simple apology our opinion may have given him a better rating. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Fun place with a great room. The highlight is the food hall on the first floor. Great place to stay. Will be back next time we are in Iceland.

Stylish building with a nice vibe. Room was spacious enough. A good variety of dining options within the hotel itself and surrounding area. Hotel's own breakfast option wasn't great, but there's a bakery next door that's good. Conveniently located right off the main highway.

6/10 Good

Overall experience was average. The hotel is located in what looks like an industrial park and we heard kids on dirt bikes during the night. The sheets and towels had some stains. Room wasn't bad overall. Regarding the food hall, it does have 5 restaurants and the food did look good, HOWEVER, do not expect Icelandic food. We came hear to eat local food but the options included wings, ramen, Korean tacos, English pub, and burgers. We did not come to Iceland to eat food we could get in the US. We ended up going to Selfoss which is just up the road and had way more food options and actual Icelandic food. Would recommend staying in Selfoss if you're in the area

CUTE and COMFY
We stayed here while doing the Golden Circle. It’s INCREDIBLY cute. There’s a food hall on the main floor and the tacos were incredible. The drinks during happy hour were also extremely good and the bartender did a great job. The blankets were so comfortable.

A cool and stylish location. The room was very comfortable and clean, downstairs there are plenty of eating options in a trendy food-court type set up, there's a lifestyle shop and coffee bar, plus ice cream store. Staff were super friendly. We had an excellent time here and highly recommend.
