We had a lovely stay, arrived early but room was ready so able to check in. Used the Spa for a few hours, was very clean and well maintained. Hotel is in an ideal location for walking into town and car parking ample, though you do have to pay £10 for 24 hours. Breakfast good, continually replenishing as very busy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Spotlessly clean and well-maintained hotel, rooms spruced up every day and lovely, helpful friendly staff. The hotel did have a water problem one day meaning I couldn’t have a wash on my last morning and I’m never a fan of “double beds” that are two singles joined; it’s not a double and it’s not comfortable…other than that a very nice stay.

From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. We’d booked afternoon tea in Alfred’s restaurant which I would recommend. We then used the spa facilities. There’s an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, ice bucket and relaxation room. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as we had booked for The Ivy. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and I would definitely stay again.

Great location close to the center and train station. Comfy rooms and decent shower. Hotel is very comfortable but a little tired in spots. Only complaint would be a lack of night staff to control rowdy residents. Given it was midweek it is unlikely normal but people running down the corridors all night until 6am was frustrating.

Our room was 003 on ground floor, great position but terrible condition. Wallpaper is ready to fall off walls and the floor a bit uneven by bed so be careful The rest of the hotel and Spa was amazing. So clean and comfortable. Staff so friendly The buffet breakfast was good. All tasty and plenty of choice Hopefully if the rooms are renovated to bring the standard up to the rest of the hotel, it will have 5 star reviews from everyone
