"For years the Stanford Court was one of favorite places to stay when in SF. The grand while understated and comfortable feel combined with its salute to its past history made it a very special experience. Sadly, the important historical pictures and printed materials which tastefully expressed its long historic past have been stripped from the hotel wallsas if it never existed. The intellectual property value of founder Leyland Stanford’s original home, the great SF fire to the current structure should not have been erased. Most companies recognize the immense and powerful value of intellectual property. Those who don’t usually go out of business. Sadly we remember the past glory of this building."
