Booked one night to attend my daughters Dodea Cheer European Championships. Convenient location (10 minutes to the arena). Friendly check-in. Breakfast buffet choices were plentiful and delicious. They have a self-serve cappuccino machine which made breakfast perfect! If I had to stay in the Wiesbaden area again, I'd stay at NH Hotel.
My room #902 had stains all over walls and seating areas also on the carpet. But the hotel breakfast was awesome and the bar was perfect. Also the staff were polite.
Very clean and cordial service. The attendants there were very anxious and happy with any questions and concerns. The place was very clean, as well.
A/C didnt work and room had a bad smell. Overall for the price it wasnt bad the lobby looks amazing and recently updated but the rooms need to be updated as well
I liked the staff , very friendly and they offered an upgrade of the room when they knew we where on our honeymoon But, The room is not very clean
Pros Great breakfast! Cons AC is not cool enough, it stayed @ 26 the entire time I also encountered one rude receptionist and rude bartender. But other than those 2 specific workers, everyone else was great!
Overall it’s just ok, not terrible but could be so much better if following problems would be addressed: “Tired” 70s hotel that needs renovation. Room was well cleaned, however hall, elevators, windows, carpets and hotel exterior were not clean. Room has nice balcony overlooking park - but door is permanently shut, no window opens and noisy air conditioner doesn’t cool.
Hotel is pleasant enough and staff is just fine. Some parts of it such as the carpeting is pretty worn and dated. Their 'no balcony access' policy is a real drag, especially as they control the room temperature at a level that is way too hot for me. Perhaps if there was a window to open, but there is not. The breakfast was good but somewhat overpriced at 22 euro. I would think that 15 euro is a more reasonable amount. The area around the hotel is residential and very quiet. The views from the window are great but, again, would be better if one could only access the balcony. Street parking was relatively easy and plentiful so I don't recommend paying for it. Overall, a decent enough place if on business but not exactly memorable for any charm or character.
It’s excellent if you need to go to the Helios or DKD which is literally next door.
It is a great property if you’re visiting the diagnostic hospital next door. Tiny restaurant which had pretty good food.
