Absolutely amazing stay! Everything was taken care of to very small details. Staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was great! Within walking distance from Arashiyaman Bamboo Grove. Would recommend to people who want to try a ryokan and onsen for the first time.
Stephanie, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice escape from the city.

Facilities offer multiple options for pawns and saunas. Beds are super comfortable, rooms were large enough and well decorated in traditional Japanese style. Location is very convenient.
Maria, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Small but cozy

We really enjoyed our stay here. A 20 minute walk from the JR Rail station. Check in was a little painful but we managed to get through it. The hotel is beautiful and we loved the onsens. If you have tattoos, like I do, they have 5 private ones to enjoy. The rooms are small but cozy. Overall or stay was great.

6/10 Good

we had very high expectations from this place and was a little disappointed. I booked it based on the definitions at Hotel.com and they asked me to pay an additional $160 for my 9 year old at the check-in. The hotel is super old and not well maintained. the hot springs is not that impressive and overrated.

An unfortunate ending to a lovely hotel stay

Harmonic, clean and calm hotel with a lot of amenities. The private baths were amazing, the public bath was also very nice. The traditional breakfast was really interesting. Not all things were to our liking. Natto for example was an acquired taste but overall it was really nice to try the genuine Japanese cuisine. The staff was also extremely helpful the day we checked out. My fiancée unfortunately had to go to the ER. The staff helped us to call the local hospitals to see which one was available and they also called for a taxi. We highly recommend this spa hotel.
