Dream Museum Zone (DMZ) Bali is a fun art gallery showcasing 120 immersive and life-sized wall paintings. A team of local and Korean artists collaborated to produce a rich compilation of artwork at the museum. Using only paint and well-positioned lighting, these artworks create unique 3D effects that look amazing photos.

Dream Museum Zone Bali has several themed rooms that’ll transportation you to various dreamy realms. The Renaissance pavilion has parodies of famous paintings, such as Mona Lisa carrying a fruit basket, or Van Gogh with shaving foam. Set up your camera, and pose as if you’re holding a lather brush to Van Gogh’s beard. Some animal-themed paintings are quite amusing, as you get to look as if you’re hosing down a zebra to wash away its stripes, milking a cow, or escaping a menacing shark attack.

You can also strike a pose on a snowboard gliding off a cliff, or grab a friend to tandem ride on a surfboard. The Luminescence pavilion features a wonderful play of UV lighting against the murals, with areas painted in certain colors that bring out a subtle glow. Most of these paintings depict underwater scenes. There are several sets with paintings of full-size landmarks and ruins, such as Prambanan Temple and Bali's famous Tanah Lot sea temple.

Tripods are ideal if you want to have everyone in the frame, and there are marks on the floor indicating the best spot to set up your camera. The team of staff are also helpful in suggesting the best pose to experiment with, and may even help you take photos.

There’s a refreshment corner serving drinks and snacks, along with a gift shop that prints your photos on T-shirts and mugs. Dream Museum Zone (DMZ) Bali is located on Jalan Nakula, right off the junction of Jalan Dewi Sri and Kuta’s Sunset Road.
