    If you’re planning to catch an English film, look for the British flag and/or “original version” when selecting your ticket and showtime.     The opera house has multiple auditoriums, all of which are decked out in Renaissance architecture. Grosser Saal is the largest hall, with 2,500 seats, while Mozart-Saal is a more intimate room that accommodates around 700 people.     The English Theatre Frankfurt is a beautiful performing arts venue with over 300 seats and a year-round schedule of shows. It’s located in the Bahnhofsviertel neighbourhood, right next to the Schauspiel and Oper Frankfurt.   

    The theatre's calendar is usually filled with a variety of shows, ranging from plays and comedies to musicals and well-known dramas. As the name implies, all shows are performed in English. If you get there early for your show or want to hang out afterwards, stop by the onsite James Bar for a drink with your fellow theatregoers.

    While tickets can be purchased at the door, it’s a cash-only venue so you might want to purchase tickets online. The Gwinnerstrasse U-bahn station is just 500 metres southeast of Batschkapp. Those who get there by car can find plenty of street parking and a garage nearby the venue.
