We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. In general, we enjoyed our vacation. The hotel is fresh; new and located in a lovely marina. There are two private beaches with plenty of space. The sea was clean and crystal clear. The nature overall was stunning! The rooms themselves are very fresh and comfortable. The hotel has a cozy SPA. There is a live music in the marina restaurants nearly every evening. The overall area is fantastic!
However, there were some disappointed issues:
1. The level of English was low. You have to triple check and verify everything, because waiters appears to be 'forgetful'. Need to be noted though that service in Marina restaurants around the hotel was much better (check Tony’s and bistro).
2. SPA staff did not react properly when the hotel guests did something wrong. E.g. kids are generally not allowed in SPA but when we were there some small kids were in the SPA. Apart from obvious noise and disturbance, one kid has defecated in the pool (we didn’t see anybody cleaning it while we were there).
Finally, we’ve always had a feeling that the hotel was trying to take advantage of us. Just a few examples. The hotel charged us additional taxes, although the quote from Hotels.com clearly indicated that they were included. Ordering local taxi to the airport through reception was twice more expensive than ordering it directly.
Anyway, if you do not mind be somewhat controlling over the personnel, it still can be a good choice.
