10/10 Exceptional

Great for local attractions and a good price

Good location- decent enough, near to rail links into the city centre
Delme, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Convenient/ close to family living in Glasgow. The price, location means I’m not travelling in & out of city centre.

Great find was at concert in Q park and less than 10 min walk . Clean bed to lay your head down . On site parking was a great bonus..
Jacqui, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

For the price it's a good stay. No problems with parking as they have their own space around the back. They just don't have breakfast there, otherwise good.

Worst place I have ever stayed at! In a bad area of Glasgow.
Jill, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Dirty and damp

My expectations weren’t high, and it was only for one night, but as a basic provide clean bedding. Sheets were stained and well used. Made for an uncomfortable night. Didn’t want to sleep in the bed. Didn’t have time to raise with staff. Also, they were cleaning adjoining rooms at 7.30am, and woke me. Not a very enjoyable stay.

Nice friendly hotel

This is a small hotel close to where I need to be for Christmas. I do not spend much time there but it is very clean, friendly, and quick to sort out very small issues (ie TV remote didn't work)

average guest house although a bit run down. cobwebs in the room and rubbish from the previous guest left but otherwise ok
Annabelle, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean and good value.

Stay proceeded without any problems, so Hotel achieved what was required. It was clean, and all the facilities were there. TV, kettle, shower/toilet en suite. Alltogether i had an undisturbed stay, and would definitely recommend.

Close to train. Shower was good. Whole building and rooms need upgrading. Entrance to Inn was quite unwelcoming

Very handy for Hampden.

Great wee find and easy for Hampden. On-site parking is a bonus. Would defo stay again. The only thing I didn’t like was that the receptionist took a photo of my driving licence on her personal phone. When asked why I was told in case there was damage to the room. This made me feel very uncomfortable and is surely a GDPR issue??

When we checked in, they took a photo of my passport, a fact that I understand is illegal. 3 nights in the hotel and not a change of towels. Very limited breakfasts and dirty cups and glasses. The reception was not pleasant. Totally abusive and exorbitant price for what it offers.
Jose Angel, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Unpleasant and overpriced

We paid £328 for a superior double room for two nights. The room was grim and damp, there was no natural light as the window was occluded and when opened faced a blank wall. The armchair was filthy, the wall needed painting and the room was dusty. The towels were damp. We received an offhand greeting in a grim office room and there was no communal space or amenities at all. This is not a hotel but very low-grade lodgings. We feel that the ‘hotel’ was completely misrepresented and that guests are being charged a high price for the most basic and poor offering.
Christina, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was adequate for an overnight stay, but no longer than that. The “queen “ sized bed was small? 4 flat pillows! Bedding was clean apart from a strange stain on one side. The shower was powerful and water hot. On entering the bathroom smelled of bleach and was overall clean, apart from some deep set black mould in the sealant around the base of the shower, but had obviously been cleaned as best under the circumstances. Only one hand and one bath towel for two people? A hairdryer was available but I chose not to touch it as it was filthy. The heating was pre set to come on at 5pm and went off about 12pm. It came on in the morning time unsure. There was a big TV but in an awkward situation to view due to there being a very large window. The whole appearance in short is very drab and gloomy.
Catherine, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The parking area is at the back of the building, not sure about safety but very dark

Quiet good value for money, just a bed but good price

They charge you £10 to check in after 10pm. Rooms don't feel secure - not great as a solo female traveller

Sept 25 Stay

After reading other reviews I was pleasantly surprised. Nice grounds, good sized room and clean. Cannot ask more for the price.
jd, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff, easy to access, one of the more comfortable beds I slept on on our romp around the UK and great food locations a short walk away. The unit was immaculate but falling apart and pretty noisy. That isn’t to say I wouldn’t stay there again.
Theodore, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The mattress had urine stanins on it and the mattress protector had also urine stains on it. The pillows where dead flat , and old looking . And the bottom floor boards where uneven . The bedrooms outside windows where dirty , and had to force a window to let some here in and could not get it closed again. The windoes where not getting maintenance the small spot lights where not working either. I will definitely not be going back there
