6/10 Good

Adequate and well located
Queens head was really good to stay at for two couples, close to the cbd and affordable compared to other options over the Xmas-new years period (leaving on the 31st). Accommodations were adequate, but some things were missing - towels were stained and some ripped/holed, bed was clean but really needs a new mattress (sagging), no facecloths supplied or hand towel, glass in room had lipstick on it. Disappointed the couch downstairs was empty one day and loaded up with clean linen for the next 2 days and unable to be used. Room was tiny, no where to place your bags down really although bathroom was a bigger size. Hotel staff were lovely and we were warned about the music being loud on Saturday night - this wasn’t an issue at all. Overall, wasn’t bad and would stay there again (but would ask for extra towels and fingers crossed we got a newer mattress)

The Queens Head was the perfect place to stay in North Hobart among the cafes, restaurants, and pubs. Great little pub too with a good sport on the (excellent) TV's.

A great place to stay
Great place - A fabulous location - plenty of eating options or the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Check in was seamless and getting to the room tgrough seperate door was a bonus. Room was spacious, clean and the bed and shower were wonderful. Fabulous accomodation for the price.

8/10 Very good

When you paint a rusty car with shiny paint, it looks nicer, but you know it’s still the same car. When you put newer furniture in an old building and give it a lick of paint, you still need to clean the mould around the window seals. But really, the bed was comfy as hell, the shower was awesome, and the price was a reflection of what you get. They’re trying hard, and they are really close to a great product. It may sound negative, but I’d still recommend it as a decent place to stay if you aren’t splashing out, but don’t want a backpackers.

10/10 Exceptional

Nice renovated/new looking room, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, 20 minute walk to downtown, friendly staff, no noise from the pub (but was a Monday night), convenient parking, kettle and fridge in room.

8/10 Very good

The staff were friendly & the bedroom and bathroom were clean. Bedding and towels were clean but one of the towels had holes in it and was very worn. Spare blankets would have been great, but overall an excellent place for a quick overnight stay when just needing a bed for the night after a night on the town. I would definitely book here again for that purpose

I enjoyed the location that was close to many restaurants and shops. I didn’t like the inadequate lighting to the entrance of the rooms at the back of the hotel.

The room was clean and a good size. The bed was a king size and comfortable. There was no noise from the pub and it was in walking distance to Hobart city. The Queen's Head is surrounded by eateries and restaurants
