Odd experience
Came in for a night to visit son in university. Stayed here before but service this time wasn’t great. Clerk at desk wasn’t overly friendly and almost like it was a burden we were checking in. Most hotels will provide info on the restaurant, directions to elevator, how to connect to wifi, and what room we’re in, etc. I was just handed the keycard and felt like they were rushing us away. Just odd experience to start.
Room was ok, clean, etc and we weren’t there long so fine. However trouble with key card to get to work. Several lights were not working. Sink was clogged almost completely. Went to sit on office chair to check emails on computer and the chair was stuck in lowest setting so could not use comfortably. Also, wasn’t able to join wifi. Again, very odd. Not typical of this hotel from previous stays and hopefully it is not a downward trend in service.
