The entrance isn’t properly lit, so I missed the entrance the first time. The room was somewhat clean, there was so much garbage around the room, broken laundry machines, broken wood floors, etc. The receptionist was never on the front desk. Would not stay here again.

A previous review said it's essentially a restaurant / bar with a few rooms to rent at the adjoining condo and that's precisely what it is.
I chose this location because it was within walking distance of the ferry to Utila and man I won't make that mistake again.
The restaurant pretty much just exists for the cruises that dock nearby and closes very early (around 5pm). I went next door to the Wikkid resort and ate at their restaurant (highly recommend)
The room was BAREBONES. You enter through the sliding glass rear door and what is the usual "front" door is locked shut with literal papertowels / similar items blocking the holes of where the handle goes.
Recommend? Only if you have zero other options and need a roof over your head.

Give this place a miss
Very disappointed that for the price the room was sub standard. There was one bottle of water for two people, one electric plug for the whole room which had the tv plugged into one socket and the tv receiver into the other therefore I had to plug one phone and one ipad into the only other socket which was in the bathroom. The shower curtain had mildew on the bottom and the towel bar was barely hanging into the wall. The paint in the bathroom was very stained. The door to the adjoining room did not have a sweep on the bottom so all noises next door were loud in our room. The shower gave intermittent warm not hot water. They crammed two beds into one room so not much space available not even room for a suitcase stand or chair. I understand they are under construction and renewal but not worth the price we paid for sure

The property location is excellent. What I found challenging was the room. The internet was not working sometimes and the water went down and so we did not have water a few times and there was no hot water in the shower sometimes and the room had no refrigerator or microwave and there was no phone to call the front desk in the room.

This is not a resort. . .
This is a bar and a bad restaurant that rents out condominium rooms on the side. As a result there is no service. There are nice swimming pools, but none of the amenities that you would expect at a resort. The rooms are in fair to poor condition.

This property was horrible. The facility was under construction, the rental unit was dirty, had no hot water, the unit was in need of touch ups of paint, the closet doors were jammed. No mini fridge and the Resturant and bar closed at 4pm during the week. The only saving grace was the resort property next door Wikkid dive resort. Their staff and owners were more than welcoming and their facilities stayed open late. Las Palmas is not close to any other amenities for food or leisure. So u must rent a car.
Never stay their again. Poor management.

Interesting place. Room was large and clean enough, but poorly appointed. No desk, no glasses, only ceiling lights and just one switch, only one elec. outlet. Facility is large with two nice swimming pools but restaurant open only for couple of hours for breakfast. I was told the place was full but I only saw 3 or 4 others over my three days there and was alone each day at breakfast. After initial check-in I never saw anyone in reception and left key with a worker when I departed. All room drapes were 12-14 inches too long and ends were tied in a loose knot to keep them off the floor. A curious place (and business model). I can't recommend it!
