A very comfortable stay
The hotel was a short walk from the train station and convenient to the old historical quarter. The reception was welcoming and stylish. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and well equipped. The bed was big and comfortable.

Great place to explore the city
Very nice hotel, perfect for visiting Kurashiki and nearby area as very close to the train station. Our room was big and we enjoyed the hot baths. The main canal and historic area is just 10 mins walk. Nearby restaurants and convenient stores

Very smart use of room space. Even though it is not a massive twin room (around 22m2), it can easily accommodate 2 big suitcases and hand luggage comfortably, and it still very spacious.
The hotel is in a very good location, close to Kurashiki tourist area, with lots of restaurants around. I would recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Kurashiki.

It’s really clean and the price was very reasonable
This is a very new property and well maintained. I wouldn't call it a luxury hotel, though. Value for the money is quite good. We would stay there again.
The only negative was when we thought that we had lost one of the card keys for the room. They were going to charge us 5000 Japanese yen for it! Fortunately, we found it.

New hotel with areas to improve.
The hotel is relatively new and within walking distance from Kurashiki station. The double room could accommodate 1x25” fully open luggage quite comfortably. USB charging points found near the bed. Could hear my neighbor talk at times. Areas hotel could improve 1. Check in. The staff took a photo copy of my passport but did nothing to process my check in. My colleagues who did the self check in managed to complete the process ahead of me although I presented my passport first. Finally I decided to take matters in my own hands - do self check. Staff could pro-actively inform guest to do self check in instead of making the guest wait for nothing. 2. Cleanliness . Just before I turned in for the night, to my horror I found blood stain on the bed sheet. I had to change room (including packing and unpacking) just before I sleep which was very painful. When I suggested that I can keep my belongings in my current room while I spend a night (just to sleep) in the new room, the housekeeping staff would just need to change the bed sheet the next morning, the staff denied. However I must say the staff have been very polite throughout. The breakfast is sufficient and not bad.

Clean and comfortable
Clean and new hotel. Close to train station and traditional market street, however a little bit of walk to the historical town area in the winter time. Love the onsen bath. Breakfast is good, small and same variety everyday so a bit boring after 2 day.
