Karelia is a lovely host, she let me use the room for extra hours for a small charge. There is a nice garden patio to sit in. This is a great budget option in an expensive area. There is no breakfast and it is a 5-10 min walk to the nearest shops.

Lovely and Comfortable Stay
Lovely stay with Karelia and Victor. They know very little English, but we're warm and helpful and we did fine with our limited Español. There are no breakfasts offered now because Karelia told me sadly she could not obtain eggs or bread regularly because of food shortages. Very comfortable, a shirt 2 blocks to the beach. There was a bright street light right over our car parked out front so felt very safe, and there was plenty of available parking. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I was going back to Varadero.

Great room, great hosts
Lovely hosts, helpful and accommodating even with the language barrier. Very clean and excellent shower. Pleasant courtyard and ideal location. Comms were sketchy but I'm going to put that down to everything in Cuba being a little unreliable!

Very clean, great location, nice hosts. The hosts, Karolia and Victor are very nice, accommodating, always cleaning and keeping the property in excellent condition. The house is separated into two, with one half for the hosts and other renters, so not as private as I had anticipated. Also, not a lot of sound barrier between the two sides. The outside area is also shared by all tenants. However, overall it was a great rental, and I would stay here again. :)

Had an excellent stay at this Casa. Karelia and Viktor were extremely kind and generous and really helped navigate the city for a first time visitor. The room was perfect-there was a TV and AC, and a beautiful yard to enjoy. Overall, everything was very comfortable. I used an app English to Spanish (available without wifi) which made conversation a lot easier. Thank you Karelia and Viktor for a great stay!

Excellent, like a little hotel. Very nice host who cleans perfectly. Two rooms, one at front with separate entrance and patio/porch. Large patio with tables at back (pictured). Less than 5min on foot to wonderful beach. Extremely good value for money. Wifi possible through host. Seriously intending to come back again some time.

Une très bonne casa particular à Varadero
Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à la casa Karelia à Varadero que nous recommandons. En effet, la casa est bien située dans la ville ,le cadre est agréable , proche de la plage et de la rue principale et la chambre est très confortable et très propre, ainsi que la salle de bain , le petit déjeuné est très correct . En plus le lit est refait tous les jours, possibilité de faire sécher son linge en terrasse . Et les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse sans égal , toujours aimables et souriants, toujours prêts à nous aider et à nous donner des bonnes adresses de restos, ou de bars. Nous les remercions chaleureusement pour ce séjour passé chez eux . Un sans faute et une très bonne casa particular à Varadero .Très bonne adresse . Dominique et Bernard de France

Perfeita para quem nao quer resort
A Casa da Karelia é extremamente bonita e aconchegante. Tudo muito limpo e com uma localização excelente! Fizemos tudo a pé, inclusive a vinda e ida do terminal de ônibus, são 7 quarteirões. Ao final da rua já se encontra a praia super azul com tendas de palha gratuitas. Nas redondezas recomendamos comer no Rigo's Pizza (rua 50), Café Cubita (entre rua 25-30), Sabor Cubano (entre 40-41), no Pan.com vende-se um Hambúrguer bom e barato, fica dentro do complexo Clube Ócio na rua 44. Neste mesmo complexo há uma cafeteira estilo Starbucks chamada Caffecino. Nela os preços são mais salgados porém tudo com ótima qualidade. Fizemos tudo a pé pq não ligamos de andar, mas caso seja um problema para vc a todo momento passam Coco táxis, charretes e táxis de carros antigos logo na Avenida da pousada também. Karelia é muito atenciosa e também nos deu dicas ótimas sobre onde comer. Por um problema de distribuição do pais, acabamos ficando sem energia eletrica por 24hs, porem Karelia e seu marido gentilmente nos foneceram uma lanterna/luminaria para passamos a noite alem de tb recomendarem onde poderiamos comprar comida ja que a maioria dos lugares acabaram fechando. No geral, adoramos! Se vc busca um lugar confortável, limpo e com boa localização, fique na casa da Karelia. Caso queira luxo, busque um dos resorts.

Nette locatie en op loopafatand van het meeste in de omgeving. Strand 5 min winkels en restaurants ook op loopafstand. Host is vriendelijk en ze hebben een hond en een papagaai. Internet mag je een uurtje gebruik van maken. Alleen verwacht er niet te veel van zoals eigenlijk heel Cuba.
