"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"Pasado Rio Celeste el Amistad was great value. It’s clean. Conveniently located to Volcán Tenorio park and many great restaurants. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant was good. If you are looking for a basic but reasonably priced value, this is the place!!! "

"Overall place was nice, has an amazing view and it is really close to the national park room is big enough and it has a terrace where you can sit an enjoy the view. My only 2 things are: there was no tv which for kids is a must, and the road to get there has no public light, so once it is dark outside is not like you can walk around… car is fine though "

By the first full day we had already seen 3 Collard Aracari toucans having a snack together, 1 Keel-billed toucan, a large troop of capuchin causing trouble in the trees less than 100 feet from our bungalow, and the troop of howlers that live on the property. The grounds are tropical gardens and each cabin is gorgeously designed with local and recyclable materials. breakfast in the garden is divine and dinner in the evenings is hearty with local farm fresh products. To top it all off the owners are so delightful and truly welcoming. A fabulous stay- one we hope to return to! "
