For the 'end of the world ' we were very pleasantly surprised with Invercargill! Beautiful Queens Park and delightful shopping just 2 of the highlights. You must go down to Stirling Point and the Lookout and look over to Stewart Island

The Bill Richardson Museum and E Hayes & Sons are worth a visit for anyone interested in motor vehicles. Queens Park is very nice for a chill out and only a couple of minutes walk from the motel. There are some beautiful buildings in Invercargill.

It is a city that is looking a bit abandoned, lots of lovely old building with so much character, but many empty in the streets. We didn't go to the new shopping plaza The Hardware store motorbike and other things on display was excellent.

Not fair to Invercargill! Weather was terrible! Visited the Bluffs. Got poured on! Did not get a chance to see much of the town. Had good dinner in town and breakfast at the hotel.

"Loved this motel. Comfy furniture, warm and clean. Quiet too, unless open window or door. Could not hear people next door using their room. Couldn’t hear them drive in or out either. Want to return."
