"We needed to be in Christchurch for several differing reasons, and a busy schedule that was to be carless. This hotel was ideally located to get to and from on foot and with public transport close by. The staff were friendly and helpful but remained professional as well. We will be back to stay again in the future!"

"Wonderful stay in the heart of downtown, close to the bus terminal and walking distance to all the tourist sights. Very clean large rooms with comfortable beds. Also the breakfast buffet was good. Staff all very friendly and helpful."

"Communication with the host was good, the living room looked clean, the bathroom had mold, cobwebs in different areas and lamps, the bathroom drain gave off an acidic smell and most of the furniture is worn and old, in the next door a Rooster. I would rate the overall cleanliness at 8/10"
