"Had a wonderful stay at Xtabi! The resort is beautiful, with stunning cliff-side views of the sea and spectacular sunsets. There is access to swimming and snorkeling at the bottom of the cliffs and there are interesting sea caves to explore. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and greatly added to our enjoyment of the trip. The restaurant is excellent, we dined there for most of our meals. "Property has lots of potential. Located on the beach with a pool. Friendly staff, ok bar, limited but good restaurant. Good size rooms. Out Tv was new but didn’t work. AC gave problems. Difficult to regulate hot water temperature. No tea or coffee in rooms. Good size rooms, comfortable bed. Advertises discount for marathon weekend for pasta meals and we did not get the discount. No compensation for not working TV or AC issue. Front desk person was not helpful at getting that issue resolved....

"Yoga Dreams Negril is an excellent option if you’re looking for a unique stay in Negril. Located on Norman Manley Blvd; directly across the street from the beach. The rooms are spacious with modern touches. The kitchen units are well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and save on dining out. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Yoga Dreams Negril is highly recommended for a convenient and affordable beach vacation!""

"Cliff-side location was very scenic, nice landscaping and pool area with stairs down to access water for swimming or snorkeling. But, lots of junk lying around perimeter, empty beer bottles outside buildings never picked up. Room wasn't as nice as I expected. Bed was comfortable, but not "Tempur-Pedic mattress" nor "Premium Bedding". Hotelscom & Expedia listings both say rooms have microwaves, but direct hotel website shows only some rooms with microwaves. Ours did not. Biggest problem was...

"This property felt like a natural resort for Jamaica, versus a corporate hotel chain. The staff prides themselves on getting to know you. We were able to get a massage on the beach. Breakfast was included in the package we had. They have a restaurant and bar on site that was open until 10 or 11 PM. The beach is steps away from the hotel lobby. I can’t wait to return to Negril and this property."

"Tensing Pen is a fabulous place. It’s showing its age a bit, and isn’t what was when I came in 2012, when it was world class, but then Negril seems to have struggled a bit as well. Despite these deficits, it remains an amazing place to completely relax, unwind, and go off grid. If you like the bohemian feel and want to step away to another world, this is the spot. The natural beauty, combined with great food, and wonderful staff make this a hidden gem. "
