"Best hotel we stayed in, in Iceland! The most helpful staff, a great restaurant on site (evening meal and breakfast), loads of activities (ping pong, darts, TV, hire bicycles, etc), great room, excellent bar / communal areas. Only two downsides (if I'm being super critical), TV wasn't a smart TV and only had 13 channels, and the area in general is full of midgies (so bring a fly net!). Even had free electric car charging on site!"
"Beautiful, peaceful location and well equipped accommodation for a lovely relaxing stay. Appreciated the attention to detail (for example black out curtains for the door - handy as we were there mid summer when sun doesn’t set). They also responded very quickly to correct the bed configuration. Will be back!"
"3rd time we have stayed here. One of our all time favorite hotels. Lake view rooms are amazing. Lake view dining is a must. Usually fet to see sheep wondering by the dining area or parking lot. All around lovely experience and we will continue to stay here every time we are in the north of Iceland."
"The apartment was great for our stay in Husavik. In fact, I wish I'd planned two nights there. The apartment has very nice family room furniture - a great place to relax. The kitchen is nice - but the stovetop is difficult to operate without instructions. I would recommend that the host leave a little card with instructions about how to operate it. It is a glass/electronic stovetop, and the safety features require you to press a series of buttons in a specific sequence. I arrived at the combo and sequence by luck after my wife gave up. Another thing about the property: it is on the third floor, and the flight of stairs is extremely narrow and steep. We are young and healthy - so no problem there for us - but - that kind of thing should be stated clearly in the property details because it WAS quite. a climb with suitcases."
"It's a very nice cosy house walking distance to everything in Husavik. They let me move my reservation to a different date due to a flight delay. Very friendly staff and my room was surprisingly big."
"We stayed for one night, Our family of four adults had planty of room. The common areas were big enough to accommodate all of us while watching a movie. It felt a little like "sleep away camp" from our younger days. Nothing was over the top fancy, but everything was functional and clean. That was all we needed for our one night stay. The place is also very quiet. Parking is right next to the unit, so moving luggage was easy enough. We would stay here again."
