A delightfully old-school motel. Check-in was self-serve, but easy to navigate.

Quiet area, away from the city or crowd. However we can hear people walking from the upper level. We still had a good sleep. Easy checkin and checkout

Check in was chaotic...no key left and office closed. Fortunate to locate a staff person who used master key and got us a key. Motel is getting run down but adequate.
Views from motel of City of Quebec were awesome. Good location to tour Ile d'Orleans.
Room lighting is less than adequate. Needed to use electric space heater.

Location good.
Rooms were not prepared, unclean, in disrepair. Toilet in one of our rooms didn't work. In each room, one of the beds looked used - one still had crumbs in it.

Friendly owner, great spot
Beautiful little spot to spend a couple of nights. Motel is a bit dated but it’s clean and everything works. There’s a nice little fire pit where you can watch the sun set over old Quebec. The owner was very helpful and always available to answer any questions. A note that you will need to bring bottled water as you can’t drink from the tap here - they do provide you with a couple small bottles free of charge, which is nice. A gas station down the road has all your necessities. E-bikes and scooters for rent. A must do! The island is beautiful and there is so much to see. Highly recommend!

cute motel near the chocolate factory!
stayed one night and got the corner side room which was much more spacious than the other rooms. Attendant was friendly and welcoming, room was clean and when needed to change the light bulbs, he changed it right away! I would come stay again.

The motel faces the St Lawrence river and has a nice view of Quebec City at night. Also, the Ile d'Orleans where the motel is located is a lovely place with lots of cideries and wineries and beautiful scenery.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. It is a small motel on Ile D’ Orleans and well worth visiting. The owners second to none and always available to assist in any way. They offer bike and scooter rental also offer guided tours. No restaurant on site but a number of great restaurants close by and great quality. The Island is a must see!

Given that the Motel Île d'Orléans is a motel, it has a charming rusticity combined with 1950s and 1960s decor. I like it because of its simplicity and comfort and for the extremely warm and friendly reception from Stéphanie. When evaluating this motel, I think of the phrase "everything you need and nothing you don't need." In essentials the Motel Île d'Orléans has what you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
