The Architect was a charming, small hotel in an excellent location. The bedroom was small, but the bathroom (especially the shower) was amazing. The staff was very helpful and let us check our bags until it was time for our flights.

I've stayed at this hotel more than a handful of times. Rooms are always very clean! Really no amenities to comment on. Great place for the person that just needs a place to sleep and shower and go about your business. Close to metro. Plenty of places to eat and see nearby.

It’s a nicely renovated hotel and very clean. My only complaint was that the shower head was broken and the water pressure was very poor. It was a struggle to actually shower under a thin stream of water. Half of the water actually shot up to the ceiling. The hotel staff are generally friendly and helpful but it depends who is on staff that day.

Very nice hotel if your plans are just to sleep there. Very clean and comfortable. It doesn’t have a restaurant or breakfast bar. The hotel does have a small sitting area with a coffee station. But there is a Starbuck’s at the other end of the block and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would stay here again.

Wonderful vintage hotel! Well maintained. Nice lounge area with iced lemon water, coffee and tea. Very helpful staff. I got in the room and found that the bed was made with sheet on top of the comforter which was strange. Flat and hard pillows. A very nice stay though, would be a return guest for sure.
