A great place to stay, in a fantastic setting and within easy reach of Franschhoek’s high street. Very comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast and beautiful gardens. The owner was extremely welcoming and spent time to help us find the best places (and wine farms) to visit. We highly recommend the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Had a lovely stay, great location for the vineyards and to experience the beautiful town of Franschhoek. Delicious breakfast and Colin offered great advice on the local area and what to do. Marseille room was gorgeous and oozing with French character. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

We stayed for two nights in a wonderful room. Colin and Billy were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Frranschoek, just perfect.

Liked the location, size of room and how quiet it was. Disliked smell coming from bathroom adjoining room (chemical) and the poor disinterested service at breakfast on day one (as a consequence we did not have breakfast on the following 3 mornings).

Fell in love with Franschhoek here
Location is unbeatable - quiet street just up from town centre in very desirable neighbourhood with secure parking. Main St restaurants and local vineyards etc just briefest stroll away. Fabulous hospitality and personal attention from hosts and staff. Delicious breakfasts served at civilised hours - no rushing you. Beautiful and comfortable common areas inside and out ... The bedroom was stylishly furnished, windows on three walls (with mountain views from each!) Cosy as equipped with heaters and snuggly rugs, in fact very well stocked all around (cookies, fresh milk, fluffygowns and hair straightners standout examples ) .... But best of all the bed. Oh the bed. Beware it is the bed by which all future hotel beds will be judged.

Amazing little Gem of a Hotel
The hotel was lovely as were all the staff. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately due to a family emergency we had to return to UK and the assistance and care shown to us by Colin and all his staff at the hotel was amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough.
