Black mould, wrong room - other guests complained
Booked a sea view room only to be told that in “marketing we showcase one room but you might get another”. Left disappointed by black mould in the shower, and perplexed owners who offered no compensation and then called the police on me for complaining and refusing to settle EUR40 in response to this.
Other guests complained about not being given enough towels and being asked to pay in cash. Seychelles has been hardly hit by post Covid lack of tourism, and we felt it at this property. Breakfast was a simple affair with limited amounts but good enough. Costs in the Seychelles are high so don’t expect this to be at the same level of a EUR 180-200 property in Europe etc.
Upon arrival, not even an offer to take a seat - “welcome drink” thrust into my hand whilst still standing and payment promptly taken. Bizarre check in experience.
Host is prompt on replying to messages so comms good.
Great location. And otherwise is a lovely property run by a family with an otherwise good reputation on the island. The driver they arranged Robin was amazing - call him for a day tour around the island.
