not a bad stay and experience. a few niggles upon arrival.. the bathroom bin was left almost completely full and spiderwebs above the toilet. the shower is very sensitive to adjust the temperature, not to mention i constantly whacked my elbow against the shower screen when washing myself (there's very little room to move as its a shower-bath so had to be extra careful). and there were no facial tissues to blow my nose, lucky i brought my own. the bedroom was fine, the standing fan provided was utilized and adequate. the kitchen is rather small and awkward eg you need to open the fridge to be able to open the oven door to take the oven trays out. additionally, the cutlery draw could use a clean out of the crumbs/dust etc. basic hygiene stuff. however, the coffee machine was a nice touch and dishwasher +washer/dryer were also utilized. the lounge area was fine, though the tv/internet were playing up on the sunday afternoon of my stay. the biggest selling point indeed is the proximity to chapel st and south yarra train station, that was most convenient, note this apartment is on a lower ground floor and there's lots of hilly roads surrounding so its mostly suited to those fit and active. the proximity to the botanic gardens was the highlight, though i came for a rock band at rod laver arena which was relatively easy to navigate to and from. overall a good place to stay but some areas that require attention.
