Ana and the rest of the team were so amazing. You arrive to a big welcome and she even walked us to our room! It’s an incredible place with nothing but beach in front of you. They were doing work on the pool when we were there but cleaned it often, and the lower portion was repaired by the time we left. We surfed every day and took lessons with Jack. He was so helpful and again positive. Surfing is incredibly easy especially for kids and non big wave surfers. When I was surfing in the evening, a real surfer…who I later saw was an instructor at another surf camp, swam over and gave me some help and advice just being friendly. The food at La Playa and the Pizzeria was so good! We kept saying this was the best…burger, tuna, etc. we have ever had. This was an incredible find. It’s definitely a dusty little surf village, and not a 5 star resort as it is all made from sea-cans, but still super cool and clean and I don’t think another place is as good in Playa Venao. We saw all the resorts and walked all the beach to compare. Sitting in the pool, and on the chairs at night gave you experience you will never forget. We will definitely be back.
