A beautiful hotel with large rooms, great ocean view and I loved the retro look and feel of the furnishings, a flash back to when grand hotels were luxurious with a European taste. It is further away from downtown though having the Aeon mall and grocery attached can be convenient. Parking garage was convenient."

Otaru also offers charming marinas, rejuvenating hot springs, and lively festivals, making it a budget-friendly destination that provides great value for money.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Otaru, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. With these features, you'll be promptly notified if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to secure a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could allow you to save on your stay at an Otaru hotel. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you secure a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Otaru's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often considerable value for money to be found.
