The owners of this stunning hotel, George & Ginger, were incredibly friendly, kind & helpful during my stay. You are appreciated at this hotel & certainly not treated as just a number. The hotel has been beautifully & thoughtfully restored, is spotlessly clean & you couldn’t ask for a better location right on the harbour front & close to the ferry and all of the restaurants & cafes. But for me, you couldn’t wish for better hosts in a more beautiful hotel in Kalymnos. This stay was the highlight of my month in Greece & Cyprus. Thank you for looking after me so well, George & Ginger. I will certainly be recommending Archontiko Hotel to my friends.

We were staying on the Island of Kos @ Mastihari.. decided to island hop to Kalymnos for a couple of days. This Property is a gem of a place, it used to be one of the many traditional bakeries until the original owners family turned into a hotel, you can see how proud George & Ginger are of the property, clean, tidy and very well presented the bed was very comfortable. The buffett breakfast was fabulous with cafetiere coffee, locally sourced fresh Orange juice,.Yogurt cereal and traditional pastries, it was very nice. The hotel is well situated for the port crossing, restaurants and local shops. What a picturesque tradittional Greek island this is, well worth the visit.. We will see you again soon.

I've stayed at this hotel before. I will recomend it to everybody. Well situated,clean and comfortable. George was very nice even though I did not see much of him as they were going to a family wedding. But my luck of picking these dates was that they asked Henrick to look after the hotel while they were away. He used to run and rent it off of George. So it was great to be able touch base with an old friend,who I had thought had gone back to Denmark. The bar next door is a great little place for a cold beer or two,run by Yanni. Look forward to possably going again in October.

George and Ginger are great at making you feel welcome in their lovely hotel. Our room had its own balcony overlooking the harbour. Water and fruit are readily available all day. Breakfast on the patio was a great start to the day. Rooms are very clean and there is a great sense of character about the building, which George is happy to fill you in on. They are both great hosts and are always interested in the guests daily activities. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Sfeervol hotel met mooie kamers. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaar. Hij gaf veel tips over het eiland. Inclusief heerlijk ontbijt. Hotel ligt in het centrum dichtbij voorzieningen.
