4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Perth

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most economical time to visit Perth is from June to August, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a budget-friendly trip that allows you to appreciate the city's rich history and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. During your visit, you can explore various significant sites, including museums, monuments, and shopping areas that offer great value for money. With its friendly atmosphere and vibrant dining and entertainment options, Perth is an ideal destination for those looking to enjoy an affordable yet enriching experience.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Perth on Hotels.com, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. It's wise to enable email alerts or push notifications for updates on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss any potential savings. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options. If prices drop or rooms become available, you'll be among the first to know, making it easier to book a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a Perth hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing your chances of securing a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive. However, thanks to Perth's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that is still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often considerable value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
