"My ENTIRE experience at this property was 10 STARS !! I traveled solo for my birthday. I arrived at the property before 11 am. Pippy did not hesitate to allow me to checkin and gain access to my room immediately!! I was also greeted at checkin by Tony (front desk Manager) who presented me with this gorgeous Thai arrangement from which he pulled a bracket, informed me of the Thai tradition and blessing then tied it on my wrist! On my actual birthday, the staff surprised me at my room singing Happy Birthday with cake and candle! I was SPEECHLESS!! I was traveling solo but I definitely did not feel alone! The entire team felt like life-long friends! Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant at every single encounter! I will absolutely return to this property. I encourage anyone to treat yourself to experience this perfect oasis in Chiang Rai. You will not regret it."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Chiang Rai
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Chiang Rai is during May, June, and September, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the region's historical and cultural gems, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During this time, visitors can enjoy the stunning temples, including the famous White Temple, as well as the serene rivers, picturesque small towns, breathtaking waterfalls, and fascinating monuments. Engaging in local tours, experiencing vibrant festivals, and discovering the scenic mountains and hot springs will provide great value for money, making it an enriching getaway on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for Chiang Rai on Hotels.com, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may find discounted rates for nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to keep informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you stay updated on availability and price drops for your preferred accommodations. This way, you could be among the first to secure a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Chiang Rai. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest more economical dates that could help you secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Chiang Rai's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
