Hotels in Mahina

After a disappointing week at the Moorea Hilton, my wife and I decided to spend a few extra days in Papeete hoping to see Tahiti beyond the beaches. We really enjoyed staying at the Le Tahiti Pearl. It was everything the other hotels on Moorea and Bora-Bora were not…a seasoned, mature, but impeccably maintained resort hotel with a very well trained and attentive staff. Hosts were extremely helpful and kind. I really enjoyed the proximity of a long and pleasant beach with a view on the Moorea island and also a very good swimming pool on the premises. I had a room with a kitchenette, so I could prepare my own meals. A shopping centre is in a walking distance. Though the main road of Tahiti is just behind a wall, the traffic doesn´t bother, especialy during nights.

Beautiful location and excellent snorkeling out the front door of your bungalow. Probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever had.

Frederick and Crystal made everyone feel at home the minute they landed which could have been at any time of the morning day or night.I landed myself at 7 in the morning and the first thing Frederick said was.....would you like some breakfast? and through out my stay they were very customer orientated.The pension itself was well located-5 minutes walk to the beach and to the ATM and shop.The breadfruit and mango trees really gave the pension a tropical feel with plenty of places to chill out...
