I had a major issue with my room, I’m not going to go into detail. The staff was more than helpful and made things right as best as possible. This is a newer hotel in Oak Ridge, so the property is really nice. The staff is very nice.

For the price, this place is fantastic. Super clean as it’s a new hotel. Spacious room that was really quiet. We had top floor, end of hall and it was silent. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable too. Only complaint was the bright light on the microwave had to be covered with a towel and the shower pressure was ridiculously low. And no hair dryer or kleenex in the room.

Brendan at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The property is new so it’s nice. Hallways smelled like old greasy fried food because people cook in the rooms. This hotel is part of the extended stay family so it is more apartment like. Because of this, they do not have a pool, ice machines, or serve breakfast. They do have ice cube trays in the freezer though. The beds were comfortable, but the blankets are not high quality. It’s those brown scratchy blankets on the beds. Room was spacious, but smelled slightly like Body odor. Overall the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a 2 burner stovetop, microwave, kitchen sink, and full size fridge. Again, this is a good property, especially if you need to stay for a longer period of time. I would not choose to stay here again because I prefer a more traditional hotel but would recommend to those looking for a place to stay 5 days or longer.

The one staff member I interacted was nice. The property is clean. However, the problem comes with the room itself. The walls are paper thin. We could literally hear people have casual conversation from the other room. Also, the beds squeaked every time you thought about moving. They appear to be on plastic leg supports, and they are obnoxious. It’s a shame such a nice hotel could be ruined for us by things like this.

Downsides: Hard, uncomfortable bed. This knocked off a full 2 stars from my rating of this hotel. The bed was super loud too. The microwave clock illuminated the entire room. I'm glad I had electrical tape with me to cover it up. The outlet was not easy to access, so I used tape. The door to get in makes zero sense. You have about 1.5 seconds between scanning your key and then getting to the door 10 feet away before it locks again. This isn't easy with luggage. Upsides: Clean
