"Our stay was really nice. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was excellent but they are awaiting a chef so had to go out for meals. Our room was lovely and clean as was the lovely bathroom towels. The only thing wrong was no mirror in the room(only bathroom). Also the shower was a little on the small size as we are elderly(80) so was a bit difficult in/out but we managed. Parking was also good so thank you to The Lion Hotel for a lovely 3 night stay."

"The place was clean and bright. However we were unprepared for the atmosphere. Nowhere in the booking process did we understand that we were staying in a religious commune. We could not find the promised shared kitchen and the walls were very thin. Everyone was friendly but we only saw one last when we arrived and one when we left. We just felt the place was a bit strange."
