Big, clean rooms with a very large personal locker and useful bedside space. The room also has air conditioning. It is convenient for catching buses, although the city centre is not really within a comfortable walking distance. There are plenty of dining options nearby.

Staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were clean and very tidy with wonderful air con. Simple breakfast selection, but what was there was good. Although, for me personally, lacking plant-based options. Just a 15 minute drive from the airport and in reasonably quiet location, I would definitely recommend it and stay again.

I think it’s important to note this is more a hostel than a hotel, even though there are private rooms available. The location is also about a 20-minute walk to restaurants/cafes/shopping in the main centre of Nantes, and the area around the hotel was under a lot of construction (long-term) while we were there/feels more like a big university campus + business park. On the positives, the king room was very spacious and comfortable, even though amenities were very basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and available at reception 24/7. (The room doesn't have a mini fridge, and the person at reception was able to get us some ice from the bar, to keep some things in our room cool.) Paid lockers for luggage before/after checkout was convenient enough, but again more of a hostel vibe rather than being able to leave luggage with a person at reception for safekeeping. I think this hostel/hotel would be fine for very young travellers (there were a lot of high school kids/groups during our stay), but I wouldn’t recommend if you're expecting a cool/chic modern hotel for adults.

It was comfortable and I do like the concept. I was afraid that the no AC was a deal breaker but surprisingly it wasn't as hot in the room. I stayed with 6 ppl and the layout was very efficient. I like how the toilet, shower and sinks were individually on its own separately.

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable à l'hôtel EKLO, en chemin sur notre trajet vélo le long de la Loire. Réservé à la dernière minute, nous avons bénéficié d'une chambre compacte qui correspondait exactement à nos besoins. Le staff a été très gentil avec nous, et l'accueil vélo avec le parking sécurisé est simplement parfait ! Nous recommandons ! Merci !
