8/10 Good
"Good and clean, the location is great. Good breakfast. The outside of the main entrance has a metal grid section, it was very slippery when it's wet. I felt on it when I walked in. The hotel needs to improve the condition before it happens to others."

"The location isn't the best; it's a bit far from the city center. The hotel itself is great clean with nice rooms though the parking situation is inconvenient, as you have to walk about two blocks to leave your car at a nearby arena's lot. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Overall, I’d say the hotel is worth it, and I would stay there again."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Stavanger

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Stavanger is in January, February, and December, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a budget-friendly experience, it's advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully appreciate the city's significant landmarks, cultural heritage, and natural wonders. During your visit, you can enjoy activities such as hiking, exploring the picturesque port, taking excursions, visiting charming cafes, sightseeing, walking along the waterfront, or even indulging in ice skating on the sand beach. This way, you can make the most of your time in Stavanger while ensuring great value for money.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Stavanger on Hotels.com, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, which could help you save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options available. This way, you'll be informed of any price drops or room availability, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find savings on your stay in a hotel in Stavanger. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could be more affordable, enhancing your chances of securing a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Stavanger's superb public transport network, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
