The room was clean and tidy. Pool facilities were nice and clean no issues with sun beds any time of the day. The beach area was lovely clean, tidy and private. Only issue i would say is the all inclusive is probably the worse I've had the food options were on repeat everyday. Enquired about late check out and was told £160 for 4 hours which is crazy. Been to plenty hotels and never been asked to pay such a ridiculous amount.

Lovely hotel, great facilities and amazing food. Staff friendly but a bit of a hit and miss re professionality, some are amazing and some cannot be bothered to do their work. Overall a great place and I will return for sure.

The hotel as a property is excellent - recently refurbished and in great condition, clean, excellent layout, probably the biggest pool I've ever seen, lots of sunbeds, private beach area and a good gym. We didn't use the spa.
The staff are excellent and attentive.

We were very impressed with this property, very accommodating to all of our needs. The staff from our very first interaction till the day we left were “First Class”. From helping us coordinate tours, secure travel arrangements, helping us to find some much needed supplies. The Food service and restaurants are to be Commended and we used them all!
We were a part of a multigenerational family and it was great to see there were activities that could keep us all happy and the times we shared can’t be measured…It had been two years since we were last together. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic stay! The hotel is modern, clean and conveniently located. The facilities were execllent- amazing selection of fresh food and drinks every day, private beach, pool, gym and padel court. The staff in particular deserve a special mention- always helpful, nothing was a problem; they went above and beyond to make guests' stay comfortable and memorable. I would definitely recommend!

Room was clean, only three of the four advertised restaurants were open for dinner, food was extremely poor and at some times limited, the overall service in the hotel was 1 star level. Be careful with the tiles covering the whole hotel complex which are lethal when wet

The main thing that stood out for me was that every single staff member working in the restaurant were incredibly hardworking, polite & friendly. Especially the cleaners kindly putting up with our baby constantly throwing food on the floor. Restaurant and cleaning staff were also attentive & went above and beyond to provide a good service.
We booked the deluxe suite which had an amazing view of the ocean & pool. The room was a perfect size for a family of 3 with a baby. The amenities at the hotel were very family friendly - good quality high chairs provided at every restaurant & the heated pool was great for an infant. There was a wide variety of food available at the restaurants. Our favourite was the Morroccan restaurant - fresh, delicious and authentic food & great entertainment!
We will definitely be returning to Agadir in the future. Wonderful resorts, people & a beautiful country.

Honestly, this isn't our usual type of hotel. We usually pick adult only 5* with a la carte restaurants but we were more than pleasantly surprised with Palais des Roses.
Hotel is in a great location towards the end of the promenade overlooking the beach. Hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. It is new but is well cared for, very clean in all public areas.
Our room was great - we opted for a swim up room which I would recommend if you want sun on your room all day. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower. Shower gel/shampoo replenished daily.
Mini bar had water and soft drinks. Water was plentiful and replenished daily. Our soft drinks weren't replenished at all but it didn't bother us so we didn't chase it - plenty of free drinks at bars and restaurants.
2 great swimming pools and a kids slide pool. Also an indoor pool with shower area. We didn't bother with the private beach area which was just across a pedestrian promenade from the hotel. No need when the pool area had everything including pool bar and plenty of sunloungers. Beach was lovely to walk along.
4 main restaurants, all buffet but food was amazing, great variety and was slightly different every day. Our favourite was Tagine with traditional Moroccan food. Blue (fish restaurant) had to be booked but was still a buffet and great variety of fish.
There were lots of couples of all ages and familes again all ages so well suited for anyone.
Entertainment team were fantastic!

We loved everything about this hotel, it was beautifully presented, great rooms, perfect location and varied food options. The best thing about this hotel, and what really sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. Every single member of staff we encountered was kind, happy to help, always smiling and radiating positivity and a good vibe. They make you feel looked after, and go above and beyond. I want to give a special shout out to Yassine from the team on reception - he was so professional, kind and helpful. I had 6 rooms booked, he made sure the check-in was smooth and made sure we had beautiful rooms - thank you Yassine, we really appreciated your kind gesture. I will without a doubt return to this hotel, and recommend this hotel to everyone!

Advertised as 5* hotel but the experience is that of a holiday village. Queues for food, cheap drinks, noisy. Does not match the level of money one pays for this.
Part of the disappointment comes directly from expedia as to how it advertises this hotel. From the pictures and descriptions looks completely different and much better than reality.
Google also advertises this as a 4* hotel i believe the 5* are not there.

2/10 Poor

Unfortunately, our experience at the Pickalbatros Palais des Roses was extremely disappointing, especially as this was meant to be a special stay around my birthday.
We paid for an ocean-view room but were initially given a pool-view room. Reception was unhelpful, and even transferring our luggage was unnecessarily delayed.
The room had several issues, including soiled towels, no Wi-Fi and significant construction noise directly outside, including work around a lift shaft.
We were eventually moved, but the replacement room had faulty air conditioning. What should have been a relaxing stay became a series of complaints and room changes.
Most disappointing was how our concerns were handled. Some staff interactions felt rude and condescending rather than helpful. Eventually, the situation deteriorated to the point where we were effectively told to leave.
We left at around 00:15 after only one full night, despite booking a longer stay. We then had to arrange alternative accommodation ourselves and pay an additional £26.34 in city tax.
I understand that problems happen, but it is how they are handled that matters. The incorrect room, poor conditions, lack of Wi-Fi, construction noise, faulty air conditioning and poor complaint handling made the experience unacceptable.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay overall. The locals are friendly, so the staff were friendly and welcoming.
It was clean and really stunning lobby area with views over the sea.
The pool is massive and there were enough sun loungers, though we were there at a quieter time in May. Really nice padded couches overlooking the beach.
The beach is really long and wide and well used. It was lovely to walk along the beach every day.
There was a violinist in the lobby
The negatives: loud music! I like to relax and listen to the sea, (the is a private beach area, noise free, but it was a bit chilly in the wind). They have loud music by the pool, which gets louder at zumba /water aerobics time. I like to listen to my music through my headphones or meditate, but it was impossible around the lool. At night it was worse, really loud 8:45 until around 11pm. So if you have kids and actually want them to sleep, opt for a room that doesn't overlook the pool, you should be okay.
I didn't sleep great as the pillows were really puffy which makes my neck ache, so wished I'd brought my own. The duvet too thick - like a winter thickness, so despite the room being perfect temperature without air con, I had to turn it on and blast out cold
