Location perfect, close to everything. Check in straight forward, room sufficiently big for 2 persons, very clean, newly renovated, nice decoration, comfortable bed, after closing the windows, it is quiet in the night. Shower water sufficiently warm and strong. Really value-for- money stay.

The rooms are well decorated, modern, clean and tidy. Located on the 1st floor (no lift though but that's common in the old buildings) in the heart or the old town. I'd definitely stay here again. Marina was super friendly, she gave us a tourist map and circled the places to visit. Also, the tourist information center is across the road so that was a great benefit.

Nightlife is right outside your window. We had a harp echoing through the neighborhood until after midnight on Sunday night. Quite compact space, even for two. Lots of stairs, though we found this to be the case all over Sicily. Historic neighborhood for sure.

Door was installed incorrectly so we had to use the key to leave the room but someone could open the door from the hall. I alerted the owner and they said they would get to it the following day. When I replied that I didn't feel safe and would like them to address it immediately, they ignored me. Also, the hot water was very inconsistent and would go cold to hot and back every couple of minutes. Thirdly, the first night, the toilet had stains running down the side of it. They cleaned it the second day, but still.

Lovely clean comfortable suite. Entry was easy and Michele was very responsive if we needed anything. Only a short stroll from Quattro Canti but on a quieter end of via Maqueda near the university. Some lovely little bars and restaurants just a few steps from the door. Soundproof windows and air conditioning were also very welcome. Enjoyed the views from the balcony.

The checkin process was not clearly defined. There is no check-in desk. The owner has to send you a code to get into the building via Whatsapp. Which is fine if this information is provided to you before you arrive. The location was excellent, a block from the 4 corners intersection, 3 blocks from the market, 3 blocks from the main cathedral. There were lots of restaurants in the vicinity. For those sensitive to noise, it may not be the best selection.

Modern Surprise in the Heart of Historical Palermo

Beautiful newly renovated suites in an old building in the heart of historical city of Palermo. All the important sights are within walking distance from the property. I highly recommend Pretoria Suites to family, group of friends, couples or solo travelers like me who are exploring Palermo.

Great location, Italian chic apartment. Curtain rod was not secure and fell down. Shower had great water flow however water ran into the apartment floor. With a few amendments it would be great! But we liked the apartment. Would definitely recommend if repairs were made.

The location was great within walking distance of busy and popular part of Palermo with restaurants and shops. Plus just 6 minutes away a well known supermarket to grab snacks, etc at great prices. The place itself was quiet not lots noise considering the closeness to a main area,, set up good with mini kitchen area so you could microwave and cook on a two ring hob if you wanted, room was clean, well maintained and modern. The staff were fantastic; The lady who checked me in was very accommodating and we were able to put our bags in early and because she wasn't at the apartment at that time she sent a video showing how to get in and the codes needed. When she arrived, she provided us with a map and circled places she knew that were good along with places we had asked for. She went above and beyond even helping with a mobile phone issue I had. She showed us how to use to use the coffee maker too and really made us feel welcome. The cleaner was lovely too and was so quiet to not disturb us as she worked but at the same time man sure everything was stocked to our liking. The bed was lovely and the whole place had a great vibe. Only negative were the stairs coming in were a pain to carry luggage up and down and the corridor door was quite narrow. I would say the bedroom would benefit from having it's own mirror too. A great place in a fantastic area with amazing staff I would highly recommend it

Hidden camera B&B

Stay here if you want to be watched on hidden camera and the pictures are a lie. Online you see pictures of a balcony with flowers on it. Well the only thing on the balcony is debris. There is construction going on in the building so see the scaffolding and debris on balcony. The contractors start at 8:00am, so be prepared to be waken up. You have to leave card key in slot to turn on AC and electric. Now she should not have done this, but my daughter left a gift card in the slot when we were running out for water and snacks so the air would stay on. A few minutes later, the owner sends me a picture of the gift card in the slot. How in the world would he have known she dis that unless there were cameras in the room? Very suspicious. Needless to say, we checked out. Online it says breakfast included. But no information provided about that. The key to get into the room is an old fashioned key, which took us 20 minutes to lock the door. Why not install a normal key? There is a Key pad to let you in the building and another to let you into hall where the room is located. He leaves the door unlocked with key on hook. Owner text video of how to get into sketchy room. No elevator. Room on second floor.

Chambre confortable à moins de 5 min à pieds de très beaux endroits à visiter (piazza Bellini, piazza Pretoria), marché Ballaro et théâtre Massimo à 10-15 min. Proche de l un des rues les plus animées et pourtant chambre tres calme et silencieuse. Chambres rénovées confortable et clim très agréable. Seul point négatif pour moi : la lumière du couloir extérieur qui n arrêtait pas de s allumer et s éteindre pendant la nuit et qui a perturbait mon sommeil comme la lumière passe autour de la porte de la chambre.
